Blackpool Motorhome Parking

Blackpool Tower 300New overnight parking provision in Blackpool!

Blackpool has strict regulations on motorhome parking, motorhomes of all descriptions are not allowed to use any on street pay and display even with a blue badge and clock. This includes the Promenade, loading bays, taxi ranks and bus stops.

However motorhomes are permitted to park in the coach bays at 6 car parks in the town, and overnight stays are allowed in them.

A 12 hour Motorhome tariff will be available from April 2016 at these sites of £6

Over-night sleeping is allowed, but, the use of or setting up of any outdoor equipment such as seating, washing lines, awnings etc is not allowed.

We have details of the car parks where overnight stopovers are allows on our Motorhome Stopovers Listing page.

Blackpool Parking Services have told us:

There are no facilities on the car park as this is just a normal Pay and Display car park where we are allowing motorhomes to park overnight. You are not permitted to set up external equipment, such as tables, chairs, awnings etc.

The car park is not intended to be an alternative to a campsite offering proper camping facilities. It is intended for short term use when visiting local attractions should you wish to stay overnight.

Car parks all have Pay and Display machines where you pay with coins on arrival. Some car parks have machines that take cards.

The tariff is £6.00 for 12 hours which can also be used in the daytime. Therefore if you wished to stay for 24 hours you could purchase two £6 tickets and display them together. You can buy tickets sequentially. There is no limit on the length of stay.
