Brian M. Leahy travelled twice round the UK visiting every campsite that had a potential sea view. He originally published a complete guide to all of them, but in 2006 distilled it down to his 'best 150'.

For 2007 the guide has been acquired by Vicarious Books, publishers and stockists of many motorhome related titles. It's been reprinted with minor amendments.

The guide covers England, Scotland and Wales, each site has its own page, complete with colour photo and site contact details including OS grid reference. There are clear directions, a description of the facilties offered, and a general description of the site itself plus any local attractions.

The book fulfills its function well, entries are in alphabetical order, arranged by country and county.
